I’m so thrilled and proud to be working with this group of people, who share the goal of providing our clients with the utmost in customer service. We all love going to work every day because we are more than just coworkers – we are friends and family.
Glenda has been my assistant since 2001, and because she’s my Auntie, we have known each other since the day I was born. (Ignore her when she tells the diaper story) Even though some days her desk doesn’t look like she could know where anything is, she doesn’t miss a beat and knows exactly where to find everything!!! I couldn’t survive without her!
Mary-Ann, our buyer’s agent, has been our family friend for decades. Her husband, Ian (Ike!), was my PE teacher back in high school. She has become a Top Selling agent and first class negotiator. (Rob W, I think your training has paid off and move over, she has now taken over your “chiseler” title).
Gloria brings much experience with listing properties and working with buyers to our team. I am convinced she knows every inch of rock in the Fairwinds community and is a wealth of knowledge. I always admired her class and style and I am so honoured to be working with my mentor of many years.
Sabine is our newest “team” member and a long time friend. When she originally approached me about joining us in Real Estate, I knew immediately she would be a “star”, which she has quickly proved to be.
Kerry was first a client in 2003 and quickly became a friend. He’s our media specialist and office administrator, and is one of the most positive, charming people I’ve ever met. When you meet him, you will know immediately what I mean. I feel blessed to have him work with us on a daily basis.
Darcie, Glenda’s daughter and my cousin, fits in wonderfully, helping Glenda and Kerry when needed in the office. She has grown into a wonderful young woman, wife and now mother. Congratulations Darcie! Together, we are always thinking about and working for repeat and referral business [read more about our Mission Statement].

I have been working as a realtor for 18 years and feel very fortunate to live and work in one of the most beautiful places in the world. In my career, I have had a total of approximately $130,000,000 real estate sales with the majority of my listings and sales being in the Nanoose Bay community of Fairwinds. I have consistently been a top producer in this area. I achieved the President’s Gold Award for 1999 – 2001, the Director’s Platinum Award for 2002 – 2004, the Diamond Award for 2005, 2006, 2007 and 2008, and received the Award of Excellence in 2003 – 2008 for maintaining a level of President’s Gold or higher. I have also consistently maintained a position as one of the top 25 Realtors for Vancouver Island.

I have a passion for every aspect of real estate from assisting my clients to find their perfect home, to helping my clients get top dollar for their property when it comes time to sell. I take pride in every job I do which includes working to ensure that each transaction progresses smoothly and expeditiously. I have always worked with a high level of honesty and integrity and envision myself as a resource for my clients. It is important to me that I not only meet their real estate needs but also exceed their expectations. I have a vast knowledge base in regards to real estate in the Oceanside area, Nanoose Bay and the community of Fairwinds. I am a very trustworthy, dependable agent who understands the importance of professionalism and confidentialty when working with clients in the real estate business.

I moved to Nanoose Bay from Ontario in 1988. Real Estate is more than a full time job but in my leisure time I enjoy spending time with my children and their families.

It’s great to be back in Paradise. I lived in Parksville/Qualicum for 14 years before my husband’s work took us to several other BC regions: the Robson Valley, the Kootenays and the Lower Mainland. We’ve been back on the Island since 2006, living in Nanaimo. My previous experience in the banking industry, as a retail manager and most recently as a real estate conveyancer for a local law firm is all relevant to my career in real estate. I feel very fortunate to be working with Susan. I have always admired her sincerity and integrity. We first thought of joining forces over Thanksgiving dinner a few years ago. We share the same work ethic, so I felt no hesitation in coming on board with her team.

Born and raised on Vancouver Island, and having lived in the Oceanside area since 1976, I know what the Island has to offer in recreation, relaxation and comfort; and more importantly, the overall enjoyment of home.
I have been a business owner in Parksville within the service industry for nearly 30 years and know first-hand that listening to people’s needs is essential in building long-term relationships. My commitment to clients’ needs has been paramount to my success in the service industry, and will continue to hold true with the natural step I have taken into real estate.
My approach to real estate is a personal one. It gives me great satisfaction to work together with clients to facilitate their experience in buying a home. Combining this with my drive for excellence and dedication, together we will find the best fit for your real estate needs.

Working with this dedicated “team” of professionals , most of whom I’ve known for many many years, has proven to be a fun and supportive experience. I love going to work everyday!

I grew up in Coquitlam, and worked for many years in accounting for the natural resources industry. In 1981, I moved to French Creek with my family and am now living in Coombs. I’ve followed Susan in her hospitality career since 1987, so it was only natural for me to join her in real estate as her assistant from the beginning. Mary-Ann and I have been best friends since 1985. I enjoy the administrative and paperwork side of this business, as well as meeting all of the wonderful people we deal with on a daily basis. Since getting my real estate license, I am happy to be able to help the other realtors as needed. In my spare time (haha), I enjoy spending time with my family, gardening and vacationing at our cabin on the lake. My yellow lab (Bailey) comes to work with me every day while my orange tabby cats (brothers Rusty & Ripper) stay at home and destroy the furniture.

I was born in Winnipeg and grew up in Calgary. Since I’m not THAT fond of snow, I relocated to Vancouver Island in 2001. My 30 years of experience as a freelance graphic artist and 20 years in customer service prepared me well to join Susan’s team in 2008. I enjoy meeting with clients in our fast-paced, supportive environment. I use both my creative and organizational skills as the team’s media specialist and office administrator. In my leisure time I enjoy sunny afternoons on my ocean view deck, making music and playing with my 2-year-old boxer, Jake.

I have lived in Parksville/Qualicum all of my life. My 14 years of experience in the hospitality industry have helped me to understand the importance of customer service and repeat business, which I apply every day as part of Susan‘s team. I particularly enjoy helping to look after our PCS (Private Client Service). I’m happy to be back at work part-time, and still have plenty of time to spend with my family. Kids are a full-time job! P.S. I’m Susan’s favourite cousin. :)
